Day 1: Arrival in Sydney / Sydney Harbour Cruise Upon arrival in Sydney, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your accommodation, the Intercontinental Sydney. Perhaps no other address offers the prestige, historic significance and convenience you’ll enjoy at InterContinental Sydney. Distinguished by the 1851 Treasury Building’s sandstone façade, a National Trust landmark, the hotel overlooks Sydney Opera House and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Day 2: Sydney Highlights Tour After breakfast, join your private guide for a half day exclusive tour highlighting the best of Sydney. Hear about Sydney’s colonial days as we pass historic Macquarie Street landmarks en route to the Royal Botanic Gardens – the perfect spot for a photo with views over the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Then it’s onto the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Then see how the real Sydney lives as we drive around the scenic Harbour foreshores, see famous Bondi Beach, charming Paddington and the many glamorous waterfront homes and views.

Day 3: Day at Leisure in Sydney Today is a day that you can spend at leisure in Sydney, sightseeing and relaxing on your last day in the city. You may choose to visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Sydney Aquarium, or the Rocks area of the city, browsing boutiques and stopping for lunch in one of the many outdoor cafes or restaurants. Alternatively, select a suggested sightseeing experience in Sydney to add to your itinerary. Tonight will be memorable - you'll watch an opera, ballet or symphony performance at the Sydney Opera House.

Day 4: Fly to Ayers Rock / Kata Tjuta and Dunes Tour This morning after breakfast you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Ayers Rock. Your hotel for two nights was named after the soaring white sails that crown its roof. This is Voyages Ayers Rock Resort's premier hotel. Exquisitely furnished and designed, the interior decor focuses on Aboriginal heritage and culture, with a gallery in the lobby and significant artworks featured throughout the public areas and in the private rooms.
This afternoon's Kata Tjuta and Dunes tour introduces you to the Central Australian arid desert. Leaving mid-afternoon, our guide will explain the nature of the desert and it's development. A short walk to the dune lookout puts one in touch with your environment and lets you delight in the spectacular panoramic view of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) - a very sacred place to the Aboriginal people. Arriving at Walpa Gorge (Olga Gorge) we walk into this mystic place, to hear how it has evolved over millions of years.

Day 5: Spirit of Uluru / Sounds of Silence Dinner This tour to Uluru provides the opportunity to witness the spectacular sunrise without rushing, all the while absorbing an exposition of Uluru's natural history and deep significance to the Anangu people. Short walks will bring you close to this wonderful and powerful place, viewing rock art, waterholes and appreciating the unique flora and fauna of Uluru. A special feature is the appreciation of the exquisite as well as the dramatic sculpturing of Uluru. This tour provides time to amble, to absorb images and to gain an insight into Uluru's remarkable presence. A light breakfast will be served.

Day 6: Fly to Cairns After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cairns. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at the Sebel Reef House & Spa - a luxurious boutique resort with a sophisticated yet easy-going atmosphere positioned in the heart of Palm Cove with a stunning beachfront location. Nestled among tranquil tropical gardens and vibrant flora, The Sebel Reef House & Spa was designed to capture the romance of the tropics and the colonial splendour of a bygone era. Majestic rainforest clad mountains make a stunning backdrop to the three pristine pools, two spas and cascading waterfall.

Day 7: Cruise the Great Barrier Reef ~ Snorkeing and/or Diving This morning you will transfer to Port Douglas for your the trip to the Outer Barrier Reef. On the way, detailed certified and introductory dive briefings are given for those diving. Snorkeling is also offered. Arrive at the first of three sites and get ready to view the beauty of this natural wonder! Move to the second site and after the initial water activities, enjoy a tropical hot and cold lunch served in the air conditioned cabin. The lunch includes fresh prawns, pasta, meats, salads and fruit. Enjoy your time at a third location on Agincourt Reef system before heading back to Port Douglas and transferring back to your accommodation.

Day 8: Cape Tribulation & Daintree National Park Before the crowds arrive, enter the majesty of the Mossman Gorge National Park, then it's on to Daintree, enjoying morning tea before a special hour is spent cruising the Daintree River to view and learn about this wildlife environment. We join the infamous Bloomfield Track at Cape Tribulation and begin the 4WD section of our journey, then it's on to Stingray Bay and Cowie Beach. You'll have a chance then to walk on the world-renowned Cape Tribulation rainforest beach and admire the coastline and fringing coral reef from Kulki Lookout before a special visit to the Daintree Ice Cream Company.

Day 9: Kuranda Full Day Tour Our driver/guide will personally guide you through Hartley's Crocodile Adventure, and a wildlife spotting boat cruise, before a delicious lunch in Lilies Restaurant. We then transfer to Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for your journey to Kuranda. You'll glide silently over the rainforest canopy, enjoying two stops enroute. Our driver will meet you and transfer you into Kuranda Village, where time is allowed to explore the unique shops, and board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail, which winds over bridges and through tunnels to Freshwater Station.

Day 10: Transfer to Airport After your final breakfast this morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight.
